The Smile of Angkor Grand Epic Show in Siem Reap presents a captivating narrative of Cambodia's rich history and culture. Featuring performers from the Cambodian Royal Ballet alongside artists from China, the show transports audiences to the era of the construction of the Angkor Temples. This production is a sophisticated, high-technology laser spectacle enhanced by modern lighting and sound systems.

It artfully blends traditional Cambodian music and dance with ancient Khmer martial arts, acrobatics, local legends, daily life, the grandeur of the Angkor temples, Khmer festivals, and the Hindu myth of Churning the Sea of Milk. The performance takes place at the Siem Reap Exhibition Center AngkorCOEX, conveniently situated just north of the Apsara roundabout on Apsara Road, near Charles de Gaulle Boulevard.

Remarkably, ninety percent of the dancers are Cambodian, with some being orphans or having relatives affected by landmines. The show provides them with employment opportunities and training in dance, allowing them to become custodians of their cultural heritage. Additionally, Smile of Angkor collaborates with two Cambodian orphan schools to assist underprivileged children through charitable donations. By attending the Smile of Angkor, audiences not only experience the authentic culture of Cambodia but also contribute to the welfare of its people.
