Go aboard our minivan to the great Tonle Sap Lake (the biggest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia), which will give you a fascinating insight into the true Cambodian life. Pick-up from your hotel by our local guide (please make sure you provide your hotel information at the time of booking). The drive may take around 40 minutes from Siem Reap to the boat’s pier. You will be invited to ride on a private boat leading to the floating village of Kompong Phluk (a traditional Khmer floating Village located 30km from Siem Reap). Discover the tall stilted houses, floating hospitals, fishery, the old lifestyle of the country, and the natural landscape of the flooded Mangroves forest. The boat ride lasts around 1h30 – 2 hours and may vary depending on the season.
