The Angkor Wat Grand Circuit Tour does not include a visit to Angkor Wat itself. Instead, the itinerary focuses on the temples located to the north of Angkor Thom, outside the ancient city. Typically, visitors opt for the Angkor Small Circuit Tour first and then choose this tour on a subsequent day. However, should you wish to prioritize this tour and forget the small circuit, we can incorporate Angkor Wat into your schedule.

The tour commences around 8:00 AM, following breakfast. We will assist you in obtaining your Angkor Pass if you have not acquired one yet, and then proceed to Angkor Park. Entering through Angkor Thom, we will exit via the North Gate, beginning our exploration at Preah Khan, the first temple on our itinerary.

The tour will continue in a clockwise direction, concluding at Srah Srang in the evening, where we will pause to witness the sunset. If you prefer to skip the sunset experience, we can adjust the tour to proceed in the opposite direction, which may help in avoiding larger crowds.

Start Your Day:⏯ Preah Khan, ➡Banteay Prei, ➡Neak Pean, ➡Ta Som, ➡East Mebon, ➡Pre Rup, and sunset at ➡Srah Srang

This tour spans an entire day, commencing at approximately 8 am. Following breakfast, we will embark on a brief drive to Angkor Park. For those opting for the Srah Srang Sunset experience, our journey will begin at the Preah Khan temple, situated just outside the North Gate of Angkor Thom.

Subsequently, we will proceed to the nearby Banteay Prei temple. Should you wish, we can also make a brief stop at the adjacent Prasat Prei. Our next destination will be Neak Pean, an island temple located in the center of the Jayatataka Baray. Directly across from this site is Krol Ko temple, which we can visit briefly if desired.

We will then pause for an hour for lunch, with the option to dine at a local restaurant or to procure takeaway for a picnic in the vicinity.

After our meal, we will continue along the grand circuit to Ta Som temple, a Buddhist temple dating back to the 12th century. Our journey will then lead us back towards Siem Reap town, with stops at the East Mebon and Pre Rup temples. Finally, we will conclude our day at Srah Srang, where we can secure a prime location to enjoy the sunset.

If the Srah Srang sunset option does not appeal to you, we can alternatively conduct the tour in reverse, starting with Pre Rup and concluding with Preah Khan.
