Commencing at 6:00 am, you will be provided with complimentary transportation from your hotel or guesthouse in a climate-controlled vehicle or tuk-tuk. We offer two distinct routes to access our boats, and depending on the season, we will depart from one of these locations, each featuring its own floating villages. Our knowledgeable bird guide will highlight various points of interest along the way. Transition from the constraints of land to the pleasures of water as you board a smaller mini Tara boat, equipped with life jackets and operated by skilled local drivers.

During our journey to Prek Toal, we will navigate past and make a stop at a local fish farm situated on the water within the floating village. Capture some photographs of the crocodiles or catfish before continuing your exploration of the floating village. Experience the daily life on the lake, where a vibrant floating community thrives, complete with fishermen, boat builders, markets, schools, and children waving from their boats.

Upon exiting the floating village, we will embark on a remarkable journey across the lake to the Biosphere Reserve at Prek Toal. Your guide will share fascinating insights throughout the trip, ensuring an extraordinary experience. The Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary is home to over 120 species of birds, many of which are endangered. Your expert bird guide will lead you to the prime viewing locations and identify the various bird species you encounter.

The actual cruise tour of Prek Toal will be conducted via the Rangers' boat, and we will also collaborate with local villagers to venture deeper into the forests, allowing us to observe the unique large waterbirds up close—a truly remarkable experience not to be overlooked.

In the early afternoon, we will depart from Prek Toal and return by boat, where you can enjoy a delightful meal and beverages aboard the renowned Queen Tara, the largest boat on the lake, located in the heart of the floating village, or at the floating restaurant in Prek Toal. Take this opportunity to relax and appreciate the surrounding natural beauty. Regardless of how you choose to unwind, it will undoubtedly be a rewarding experience before we conclude our journey back to your hotel or guesthouse.
